Zed is a highschooler that frequently damages doors and walls. He does because it makes him feel more free, since however he lives his life, it's restrained and limited. His mother resides in the Calm Hospital, and until he's able to cure her, he'll move to another city. On his birthday, he visits his mother and shows her the white feather, given to him as a gift. His mother seems to react to it, and through Zed's outburst, he was taken away by security guards and locked in a jail (also for trashing the doors).


His mother helps him escape and Zed learns about "Shard Casters". During his escape, he follows the wind and enters a new world. In this world, the warriors use "Shards" which are magical beads that cast powerful damage. The warriors can also manipulate "spirits". Zed stays in that world, with the soothing wind, and works hard to become a Shard Caster.

The story involves human mutations called "dicloniuses", who grow horns on their heads and possess telekinetic powers, in the form of invisible "arms" called vectors.

The tendency for violence among dicloniuses varies among characters. Certain scientists contain them in a Facility in cells where they are subject to inhumane experiments to test their abilities or where they await execution for being too dangerous.

An infectious virus is also associated with the mutation. This virus is spread through non-lethal contact with the vectors of a diclonius.

The main non-mutant character in the story is Kouta, who ends up becoming increasingly involved with these dicloniuses, as they seek refuge from the scientists.

The main diclonius character is Lucy/Nyuu a killer whose alter ego is a hapless, and very cute child whose vocabulary and intelligence is quite limited.

While visiting the National Library, junior-high students Miaka Yuuki and Yui Hongo are transported into the world of a mysterious book set in ancient China, “The Universe of The Four Gods.” Miaka suddenly finds herself with the responsibility of being the priestess of Suzaku, and must find all of her celestial warriors for the purpose of summoning Suzaku for three wishes. However, the enemy nation of the god Seiryuu has manipulated Yui into becoming the priestess of Seiryuu. As enemies, the former best friends begin their long struggle to summon their respective gods and obtain their wishes…

The series describes their travels and their adventures along the way to summoning Suzaku, enduring various trials along the way, both quest-driven and personal. Miaka however has little knowledge of what happend to Yui. Yui, who was sucked into the book soon after helping Miaka escape it briefly, has assumed the mantle of Kutō (or "Qu Dong" in the manga)'s priestess of Seiryū, Suzaku no Miko's deadly enemy.

The story is set in the distant mountain village of Okukozome-chou. Haruka Kazugano and his twin sister Sora have fond childhood memories of going to the village to visit their grandfather during their summer vacations. In Anime adaptation which I really love to watch it has 12 episodes. Personally saying its anime adaptation will surely touch our lives in the true meaning of love, love which has no boundaries.
